Free downloadable smart2go program, requires a gsm phone (either a symbian phone or pocketpc phone), and has a different map directory structure. There are countless sub-folders

anyway, some-one could start a new thread with Nokia's software and maps, and descriptions of directory structure. this forum really needs a separate topic related with Nokia's software and maps. A lot of people in the world tries to download Nokia's maps themselves, and waste a lot of time. They need help from smart people of our forum. We could organize, and share the maps like for other navigation software (like iGO maps). Note: Nokia's software needs a licence (so a crack) for navigation with their free maps.

i wish, somebody find a way, to use Nokia's maps with the software in my thread.

So what I think you are saying is that the cr**ked smart2go is the PRE-NOKIA taking over gate5?? And since Nokia ownership they have altered the program, maps etc..

Just for interest I downloaded the latest Beta and managed to download the England Map (using Maploader) only through a card reader - it wouldn't recognise my PDA. It seems to split the CDT file into loads of smaller versions??

if you share your downloaded maps with us, i could try to load them to PDA version. You must find your maps in sub-folders of your card.
i don't have a gps-phone, nokia's software doesn't work on my PDA, so i couln't try to crack navigation-licence of Nokia software

1- The software in my first post doesn't require a card reader, and has only benelux map in it. This software has no relationship with nokia
2- Nokia's smart2go software for mobilephones (PDA or Symbian versions) is different, and requires a card reader to download the maps while connected to internet. i am not related this software, nor have the maps. somebody must start a new thread with software, maps, and map locations.
3- Beware, downloaded maps for Nokia software could contain your personal information, so sharing could be dangerous. i don't understand why MapDownloader software requires you sd-card via a reader. this could be part of a security

extension is compatible, but i am not sure if it works. smart2go maps is not like iGO maps. sometimes they produce software and maps for a specific country.
