you must install navcore 7 or 8. Theses maps dont work with tomtom6

Which Navcore are you using? If you have no idea look for version under reception bars. Or Have you ever updated this since you purchased it?

Search this site for TomTom Navcore. Also search for Installing TomTom map. There are very good tutorials on both subject. You will also have to activate your maps. The tutorial will also explain this.
