The 2009.03 map from MAPI-NNG may suck, but here are finally their POIs (thanks to our friends on the Russian forum), which complement well the well-known 2009.02 (or, previously, 2008.10) POIs from MAPA, with MANY new POI categories and POIs - e.g. stores (Office Depot, Ace, Bug, Big Center, Dionon, Home Center, Hazi Heinam, Tiv Taam, Yohananof, Yesh, Supersol, and the list goes on...), restaurants (by category), banks, car rental agencies, car dealerships, garages, attractions, wineries, intersections & interchanges, wireless hotspots, etc. etc. You can put both sets of POIs in your poi folder and have the best of both worlds... enjoy

There is no TTS in Hebrew. You can have it English if you change the imterface to English.

Thanks, but a lot of the new ctaogories have missing/no information,........or am i missing something??

Just found out that you cannot see the POIs in the POI Management Menu (there you see only the Catagories) but when you are in the Plan or Navigation mode there you actually see the POIs (not just the Catagories) and can use them to Navigate to.
Strange???......anyone else has this small problem??

You say it could be put 2gether with the regular 02.2009 POI of MAPA, are there no overlapping POII's that might show me duplicates?
Are you 100% sure that whatever is on that POI the MAPA one doesn't have or there might be duplicates?
I don't want to find my self with two Icons of a bank or a store, etc just b/c both of them contain those.

all i said was that you can put both sets of pois together - you can put as many poi sets as you want together... i'm sure there most likely ARE pois that exist in both of the sets, as each one is released independently by two different groups, each of which is meant to be used independently (one of the disadvantages of buying the software...). here we can have the best of both worlds, as long as you don't mind some duplicates, as there ARE many pois in each that do not exist in the other. in any case, everyone should obviously decide for themselves what poi set(s) they want to use...

I can tell you how to change the icon to another from the installed set, but I don't know how to install a completely new set.

To change the icon for a Group go to Manage>POI and then tap Edit for the one you are interested in. Then at the bottom in the centre tap the existing icon (or it's blank if no icon presently). It will bring up all the available icons for you to choose.
