I plan to D/L and install on my Nuvi 885t.

But I have been having a ton of problems installing the CNNANT2010.20 maps so I am hesitant to try these yet.

The biggest question I have right now, is what to do about unlocking these. Do I use the JM keygen or the "Garmin Unlocker" which is supposed to unlock the maps for use with ANY Garmin GPS unit.

But I have read a few posts that the Garmin Unlocker (Not the same unlocker inside Mapsource) will remove routing capabilities wiht the newest version of MapSource.

Unfortunately... I ran the bat file of the unlocker and I think it massaged all of the maps I have on my PC. SO I may have a big problem.

But exactly what is the difference between the JM KetGen and the Garmin Unlocker which unlocks all the maps ?

Which one to use and why ?

Is this possible ?

I have a lifetime sub for map updates for BOTH the NA & Europe maps from Garmin.

I have a couple of 775t units and bought one sub.

Can I do the D/L from Garmin of the new maps and then use the msi installer to load/install the maps on BOTH 775t units as well as my other Garmin units ( 885t, 780, 2730 etc.) if I generate an unlock key using JM for each unit ?

And in keeping with my other post, could I use the "Garmin Unlocker" to unlock the maps for use on any of my units ?

I got a DVD from Garmin with the CNNANT 2010.20 maps on it and it installed with no problem into MapSource on my PC and of course I put it on my 775t and then used MapSource to "SEnd" the map to my 2730 and all worked.

The problem is with the newer nuvi units..... I have been unable to "send" the new maps to my other nuvi's becasue when I use the msi installer, it sees the installation of the maps already in MapSource and till onoly allow me to do either a "Repair" or "Remove" and not a new or reinstallation to load the maps on another GPS.

Is there any way possible to force the msi installer to load the maps onto another GPS unit once the maps have already been installed onto MapSource ?

That would be the absolute easiest way instead of having to copy over the JCV files etc.
