Does somebody knows how to create maps for ex.Igo/My way, Tom Tom or similar programs.
If it is not a big procedure, I think it will be nice to post maps from different cities around the world. Also, total coverage of countries will be much bigger than now.

For first, I think that some map should be partially scanned in natural aspect (1:100, 1:500.000 or similar), in JPG formet, then merge these pics and get one big map.

But what happens after this ??? What to use to convert maps to most used program ???

Well most good navigation programs use vector maps, so you dont need to resize pictures (like OZI explorer), and maps are much much smaller...

If everyone would make their own maps, it would be caos, since not everyone has a gps devices that are good and acurate... The idea you have is good but cannot be done like that, the maps must be made by profesional equipment and people...
